Black Friday Shopping at Briarwood Mall Ann Arbor includes an evening of music from Trey McLaughlin

Hartland Teen recording artist Trey McLaughlin will provide an acoustic performance on Black Friday, November 28th at Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor. An all day music marathon begins in the mall’s Center Court at 6:00 a.m. and wraps up the biggest shopping day of the year with Trey taking the stage 8:00 - 8:45 p.m.

Briarwood Mall has teamed up with The Arts Alliance for this event to raise funds for music education in Washtenaw County Schools. The stage is sponsored by Pandora and Cumulus Radio and 107one will be on hand throughout the day. Pandora will have a drawing available for anyone who makes a donation for the chance to win a bracelet or equivalent. Bravo Restaurants is donating a free appetizer to anyone who makes a donation (limited quantities).

Currently the songwriter/front man for his band Bulletproof Snow, Trey serves up Modern Rock laced with hooks, relatable lyrics, and unbelievable melodies . His (4) piece band began in 2012 in Hartland, MI and quickly gained visibility both locally and nationally. Winning a performance spot in the Rockstar UPROAR Festival at DTE Energy Music Theatre in August 2013, the band was also nominated and was among the top 5 artists in 2 categories at the 2014 Detroit Music Awards. Most recently playing showcases in March 2014 in Austin TX during the SXSW music festival, the band also performed at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in May 2014 at the Driven Florida Music Conference.

Some of his more recent performances include Arts, Beats, and Eats August 2014 and (Nov. 14th) with members of Candlebox in Taylor MI.
