Bomb Syria's Children for Israel?

Having just read the article below:  **

Why is the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize using his energy to attack a country that hasn't attacked us? Why isn't he using his energy to broker a cease fire, blockade of weapons, arms, missiles entering Syria?  It is because of Israel.  Our foreign policy needs to be uncoupled from the Zionist State of Israel which has no regard for the rule of law or human rights.  The Israeli Gov't is fanatically fearful for its own survival which has blinded its conscience with regard to the rest of the world. In the article below: "On the day the president is speaking, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee plans to blanket Capitol Hill with 250 advocates, having already contacted dozens of lawmakers to urge them to support a strike.

The advocates will carry a simple message, according to a person involved in the effort: Syria is a proxy for Iran, and the failure to enforce Mr. Obama’s “red line” against the use of chemical weapons by Mr. Assad will be interpreted in Tehran as a sign that he will not enforce a red line against the production of nuclear weapons by the Iranian government."

Has anyone on Capitol Hill pushed back and asked the question: why can't Iran have nuclear weapons if it wants to?   Israel, its neighbor has over 200 nuclear bombs, is the 4th largest army in the world, never signed the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, no UN inspections, etc.  Why should Syria's children be bombed because Israel doesn't want Iran to have nuclear weapons?  Why did Gaza's children, 326 of them killed in 22 days of bombing by Israel in 2008-2009, have to die, some of them by white phosphorus bombs?  Enough of Israel's killing of kids and enough of the U.S.'s killing of kids for them.  It is deplorable.

Call your congressperson on Tuesday, when 250 AIPAC lobbists are visiting and let them know you disagree with bombing Syria.  202-225-3121.

Talk to a real person-staff member. These are real children that are dying in what the U.S. and Israel view as "acceptable collateral damage, "  as part of their pre-emptive bombing.
