Boys and Girls Boardercross Ready to Fete State Finals Run
Hartland teams finish third at Alpine Valley.
At this Sunday's banquet the Hartland High School boys and girls boardercross teams will have a lot to celebrate.
Each team took third in the state finals on Feb. 11 at Alpine Valley, according to coach Dennis Tierney.
Trevor Sudbay and Justin Cronk both finished first in three runs. Dylan Tierney finished first in two while Drew Nickerson notched one first.

During the individual tournament, Hanna Hasbrouck and Dane Burdo finished first in opening round runs. Hasbrouck and Burdo both reached the semifinals. During the races, the top two out of four competitors advanced.

Milford won the boys title while Lakeland captured the girls. Four schools competed in each division.
