HAYAA Machine Pitch Baseball Wraps up Season With All-Star Game

The day started out wet as the Hartland Area Youth Athletic Association played its season ending All Star Game Father's Day afternoon at the Farms Fields.

The rain didn't dampen the spirt of the game however as the American League team outslugged the National League Team 21 - 1.

The victorious American League's Roster consisted of Tyler Szmansky, Noah Dues, Kurtis Ratliff, Bruce Jellison, Carter Dzieciolowski, Connor Demko, Nicholas Schafer, Samuel Keranen, Caeden Blower, Sam Clay, Tyler Norton, Michael Early, Cory Anderson, Braylon Buback and Jacob Bernardi.

The equally scrappy National League was represented by Gregory Doner, Eric Boze, Aiden Anderson, Brady Balagna, Gannon Grundman, Joshua Wiater, Bictor Froman, Lucas Henry, Alek Natkowski, Alex Moore, Gage Darabos, Ben Arrick, Ryan Felix, Ryan Behrendt, and Jonny Thiebeault.

Each of the teams members were honored by being selected by their regular season coaches with three coming from each team.

In spite of the weather and the rather lopsided game a good time was had by all of the players and based on some of the fielding and hitting that was seen on both sides this afternoon, the future of Hartland Baseball appears bright.
