Hot at the Library This Week--One for the Money!

Now that DVDs to rent are pretty much confined to large red boxes in the Hartland area, browsing the DVD collection at the Cromaine libraries has become pretty regular for some of our residents.

Unfortunately, what you do not get to see there are the hottest new titles, since they are consistently on hold and going from library user to library user.

This week the DVD "One for the Money" starring Katherine Heigl, Julie Ann Robinson, and Debbie Reynolds based on Janet Evanovich's first book in the Stephanie Plum series is hot! Cromaine has four copies and, as a "Hot New DVD" the check out period is four days. We're doing our best to get these turned around as quickly as possible.

If you haven't been "hooked" by Evanovich's Plum series, you may want to check out one of the books while waiting for the DVD. At last count, the series is up to eighteen, every one of them light-hearted fun. Take an unsuccessful department store lingerie buyer turned bounty hunter, add in several New Jersey stereotype characters, and a host of criminals needing to be brought in and you have one of several reasons "One for the Money" is hot. A great story brought to the screen.
