"Missing" is an affront to the values of motherhood!

If you saw the season finale of "Missing" the insideous message was that it is ok for a mom to torture and murder, a terrible distortion of what it means to be a mom.

I was shocked at the season finale of "Missing" starring Ashley Judd when torture and murder were justified under the auspices of motherhood.  Mother's Day was started after the civil war by a mother who refused to justify the killing of anyone's son for any reason.  Torture and murder in the name of being a mom is abhorent to me.  I was told that the series was not renewed so this ending stays in the public square with no response.  I hope there is a public discussion about this.

I am happy to report that our judicial system is holding private military contractors complicit in torture accountable to the rule of law. Below is a link to further explain:

On Friday, a federal appellate court ruled that private
military contractors allegedly complicit in torture at Abu Ghraib aren’t immune
from prosecution. In post 9/11 America, that counts as a significant victory for
the rule of law.
