'Mom, is this Facebook?'

Interactive books are a blast for everyone.

So a few weeks back my 6-year-old picks up one of my favorite board books, Dinosaurs, by Benedicte Guettier, holds it up to his face and asks, “Mom, is this face book?”

I could not stop laughing. My response was simple: “That is about as close to Facebook you need to get for a 6-year-old.”

Dinosaurs is a great face cut out board book that allows children to become apart of the story on every page. We never get tired of this book.

Interactive books help to keep children and even adults engaged in the entire story. It takes learning to a different level. Who wouldn’t want to be mentally and physically involved in a good story every once in a while.

Interactive books equal tons of fun.
