Annual Labor Day Run/Bike Race

he 11th Annual Labor Day 30K Race takes place starting with registration at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.

Register and pick up your packet at Baker's of Milford Restaurant , where the race also takes place Saturday, during a health and fitness expo featuring running and biking vendors from 1-6 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 2. Or register between 6:30-7:45 a.m. Saturday at Baker's. (Cash or Check only for day-of-race payment.)

For this RRCA 30 K Regional Championship, the 30K and 10K events are USATF-Certified; the 30K is part of the Michigan Runner Race Series.

The Milford Labor Day 30K is an endorsed running event and qualifies you to enter the 2010 Lottery for the Mackinac Bridge Labor Day Run- Sept. 6, 2010; see

The 30K Race begins at 8 a.m.; other events include a 30K cycle cross or mountain bike race at 7:30 a.m., a 10K run at 8:30 a.m., a 10K walk at 8:35 a.m. and the half-mile kids' fun run at 11:15 a.m. 

Costs for the various races are:$55 for the 30K run; $40 for the 30K bike race, 10K run and 10K walk and $10 for the kids' half-mile run, plus a $3 processing fee with online signup.
