Golf Scramble Benefits Nature Preserve

Round Lake of Hartland Nature Preserve will benefit from a nine-hole golf scramble on Sunday, Aug. 7 at The Majestic at Lake Walden.

Participants are asked to arrive by 7:30 a.m. to be in place for the shotgun start.

The $40 fee includes a cart, the scramble and a breakfast afterwards. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin.

Reservations can be made by calling Majestic Golf Course at 810-632-4797; the fee can be paid upon arrival.

This is part of the Livingston Land Conservancy 2011 Challenge Campaign that has matching funds pledged towards money raised to repay the loans for purchasing land for the Round Lake of Hartland Nature Preserve.
