You're invited to cut a rug at the Hartland Swing Dance on Friday, Feb. 18. And listen up to this racket: We're looking for jitterbugs with the best swing-era threads: there will be awards for hats, hairstyles, outfits and ground grippers.
The hep cats in the Hartland High School Jazz Bands and a professional ensemble, the Ambassadors Big Band, will get the joint jumpin'. The evening provides hummer music suitable for dancing and socializing, a perfect night to practice with your partner for the Swing Dance Contest coming up April 15. Enjoy more than three hours of live music and refreshments included with every admission.
