Rain Barrels and Compost Bins Available

Buy a rain barrel or a compost bin at great savings Saturday, Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to Livingston County East Complex, 2300 E. Grand River Ave., Howell.

The East Complex is located on the northwest corner of Chilson and Grand River.

These two products promote water conservation and reduce waste disposal throughout the county of Livingston. The community event promoting them is affiliated with Livingston County, Livingston County Drain Commissioner’s Office and the Michigan State University Extension.

The rain barrel, a $150 value, is being sold for only $60; the compost bin, valued at $100, is going for $45.
