Saturday and Sunday at St. Mary's Fair

St. Mary's fair opens Saturday, Aug. 6 with a Family Fun Run (1 mile run/walk or 5K run); registration's at 9 a.m., and the event begins at 10 a.m.

Events starting at noon include:

-Texas Hold 'Em Tournament (register at 11:30 a.m., runs until 4 p.m.

-Family games, inflatables, Teddy Bear booth, sweet shop, white elephant sale, theme baskets, and a silent auction until 9 p.m.; however, silent auction bidding ends at 8 p.m.

-St. Mary's Grille until 10 p.m.

Other events include:

-Youth band Infinity hour playing a mix of current pop and hits from 1-3 p.m.

-Whack the Mole, playing a mix of oldies and pop hits from the 1960s through the 1980s

-Mass at 5 p.m. (Fair is closed from 5-6 p.m. for Mass.)

At 6 p.m., Lakeland High School Jazz Band performs (through 7 p.m.), a pulled pork dinner is served in the hall until 8 p.m. and the Vegas tent opens, running until midnight

Bugs Beddow Band performs its unique R&B sound from 8 p.m.-midnight.

 

Start off the day Sunday, Aug. 7 with the last Mass ofhttp://hartland.patch.com/events/new the day at noon.

From 1-3 p.m., enjoy the sound of Little Davy and the Diplomats, featuring 1950s and 1960s musical classics.

Also starting at 1 p.m. are:

-Bingo in the parish hall from 1-4 p.m.

-St. Mary's Grille, featuring a chicken special, family games and inflatables, Teddy Bear booth, sweet shop, white elephant sale, until 5 p.m.

-Theme baskets are available until 3:30 p.m.

A euchre tournament takes place from 1:30-4 p.m. (register at 1 p.m.)

Rusty Musicians play classics from the 1930s through the 1950s from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Find out who won all those prizes at the raffle drawing at 4:30 p.m., which runs simultaneously with the closing ceremony.
