Save the Wildlife 5K Run/Walk

Register now for the Howell Conference & Nature Center's third annual Save the Wildlife 5K Run/Walk Saturday, September 24.

All proceeds from the run, which is sponsored by Citizens Insurance, benefit the Wildlife Program at the Howell Conference & Nature Center.

The course winds through the Howell Conference & Nature Center trails and roads throughout the Center’s nearly 300 acres.  ChronoTrack timing will be provided by Race Services Company.

Here's the schedule:

-8:30 a.m. — Registration begins
-8:30 - 9:30 a.m. — Live Animal Show
-9:30 a.m. — Opening Ceremony
-10 a.m. — 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile start
-11 a.m. — Award Ceremony

Registration fees are $20 for the 5K trail run or walk and $10 for the one-mile fun wildlife walk before September 23.

Entry fee includes t-shirt and entry to Wild Wonders Park.

Rates are $25 for the 5K trail run or walk and $15 for the one-mile fun wildlife walk on September 23 and race day. All fees include a t-shirt and entry into the Wild Wonders Wildlife Park and are non-refundable. 

Register by September 19 to guarantee t-shirt size and availability.  Dogs are now allowed and jogging strollers are only permitted on the one-mile fun wildlife walk.
