"Recognizing the Power and Control of Abuse: Is there a difference between bullying and abuse?" is designed for abuse victims of all ages and socioeconomic levels; individuals working with victims of abuse; and parents and friends concerned that a loved one may be a victim. Chaplain Don DesNoyers will facilitate a roundtable discussion about how to recognize and deal with abuse.
Representatives of Common Ground, Haven, the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office and Huron Valley Sinai Hospital will be on hand to help attendees understand the legal, emotional and harmful effects of abuse.
