Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Introduces Troop Connect
Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan introduces a new way to participate in Girl Scouting.
Join Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan on Wednesday, February 17 from 6-7:30 pm, at the Hartland Educational Support Service Center for a new way to participate in Girl Scouting: Troop Connect.
Troop Connect is a troop of girls in grades K-5 working in collaboration with troop parents and an on-site staff member. Parents connect and grow alongside their girl; each parent commits to volunteer at least once during the length of the program, to conduct a Girl Scout meeting – with guidance from an on-site staff member.
As a member of Troop Connect, girls will have weekly troop meetings until the end of the school year, participate in skill building activities during every meeting, have the opportunity to sell Girl Scout Cookies, and have access to special events and camps exclusive to Girl Scout members.

Girl Scouts use these experiences to develop their full potential, determine strong personal values, and strengthen their decision making skills. Through their newfound abilities, leadership, and cooperation, girls relate to others with better interpersonal skills to improve our world.
Troop Connect will meet every Wednesday until the end of the school year from 6-7:30 pm at Room 3 of the Hartland Educational Support Center. The cost of the program is $125 for troop and activity fees, plus $25 for membership in Girl Scouts. Financial assistance for membership is available.
