Hartland Chamber 2nd Annual Carnival Returns in June

       The Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce announces that Elliott’s Amusements will come to town at Hartland Marketplace next to Walmart in Hartland June 5-8, 2014. New this year, Elliott’s Amusements and the Hartland Chamber will host a Special Needs Day on Friday, June 6 from 2-4 p.m. Handicapped and other special needs individuals, their parents, and siblings will be allowed to ride for free during that designated time. The carnival will then open to the general public at 4 p.m. “Elliott’s Amusements is graciously bringing in extra employees and opening the carnival early and exclusively for these individuals,” says Jana Warford, Executive Director of the Hartland Chamber. “The owners and staff of Elliott’s Amusements are amazing people. We are excited to provide this opportunity, and hope it will be a great event for all.”

          This year’s carnival is proudly sponsored by Advanced Physical Therapy in Hartland.  The carnival midway will consist of 40% kiddie rides, 40% adult rides, and 20% spectacular rides, plus a minimum of three (3) food wagons, and 15 game concessions.  The hours for the carnival are set for:

·         Thursday, June 5 & Friday, June 6 – {4-11 p.m.}

·         Saturday, June 7 – {noon – 11 p.m.}

·         Sunday, June 8 – {1 – 8 p.m.}

        Discount ride coupons are now available at www.elliottsamusements.com until June 4, 2014. Get unlimited ride bands for $14, instead of the normal $20 price at the gate. 

        Proceeds from the carnival will help to fund the second $1000 high school senior scholarship that was added in 2014. Additional proceeds will also help to fund the Chamber giveback that is presented to local non-profits at the holidays.

          The purpose of the Chamber is to unite the membership to establish and promote a favorable business climate, improve business-community relations, and conduct programs that promote a high quality of life, and an outstanding community environment and to voice group concerns over matters that affect any or all the members. The mission of the Chamber is to assist business establishment and growth in the Hartland area through information, support, and networking; and to provide a means for business to give back to the community.
