Hartland High School Ski Results from Thursday's Race

Ski Coach Glenn Makin provided the following results from the Alpine Valley Divisional race held on Thursday.

The girls team results of the divisional race, which is based on their performance in the Slalom and Giant Slalom events, are: Walled Lake Central, first; Marian, second; Lakeland, third; Walled Lake Northern, fifth; Novi, sixth; Hartland, seventh; West Bloomfield, eighth; Milford, ninth; and Walled Lake Western, tenth.

In the Slalom event, the Hartland  racers' placements out of 74 racers are Carly Nylander 28^th, Jessica Schnabel 38^th, Mallory Haig 44^th,  Haley David 45^th , Nicole Wistinghausen  49^th , Maddie Wheeler 50^th , Rhianna Dilworth 51^st and Mallory Reader did not finish.        

In the Giant Slalom event Hartland racers' placement are Mallory Reader 8^th, Haley David 20^th,  Rhianna Dilworth 25^th,  Jessica Schnabel 37^th , Carly Nylander 43^rd , Maddie Wheeler 60^th , Nicole Wistinghausen 61^st and Mallory Haig 67th.          

The Boys team results of the divisional race, which is based on their performance in the Slalom and Giant Slalom events, are: Brother Rice, first; Lakeland, second; Walled Lake Northern, third; Milford, fourth; Orchard Lake St. Mary's, fifth; West Bloomfield, sixth; Novi, seventh; Hartland, eighth; Walled Lake Central, ninth; Walled Lake Western, tenth.

In the Slalom event, the Hartland racers and their placement out of 80 racers are Rocky Crotty 7^th , Joe Haig 40^th, Cameron Wheeler 42^nd , Carter Janssen 45^th , Josh Mowbray 49^th , Andy Cabush 65^th ; Grant Comly did not finish, and Dan Aberasturi DQ . In the Giant Slalom event Hartland racers and their placements are Rocky Crotty 12^th, Carter Janssen 30^th , Cameron Wheeler 44^th, Dan Aberasturi 45^th , Grant Comly 47^th ,  Joe Haig 57^th ,  Andy Cabush 65^th , and Josh Mowbray 74^th.  

With their placement in the top 10, Mallory Reader and Rocky Crotty have qualified to race in the SEMSL League Championship at Alpine Valley on Feb. 21. Hartland will participate in the KLAA meet on Monday at Alpine Valley.
