Hartland Resident Leads Henry Ford Tour on October 22nd.

Final tour of the season leaves from Brighton First United Methodist Church

July 30th marks the 150th birthday of legendary American industrialist Henry Ford.  His innovations put the world on wheels and changed the way we work and live today.

Taylor-based Bianco Tours celebrates this momentous sesquicentennial event with the launch of a new tour called "Happy Birthday Henry."

The tour features onboard guest narration by Henry Ford historian Steven Stanford of "H is for Henry Publications".

As the Bianco Tours motor coach travels to sites throughout Detroit and Dearborn, Mr. Stanford will share facts and behind the stories about the tinkerer turned titan who changed the world with his Model T.

"I'm excited to partner with Bianco Tours to bring Henry Ford's story to life through the tour offered this summer and fall", said Hartland, MI resident Steven Stanford.  "Henry Ford's 150th birthday is a great time to explore his life and contributions to the lives we live today".

The Happy Birthday Henry tour includes lunch at Maccabees at Midtown, a new restaurant located in the Albert Kahn designed Maccabees building.  Albert Kahn designed over 1,000 buildings for Ford.  The tour also includes a stop at the historic Ford Piquette Plant where the Model T was designed and first built.

Organizations and individuals interested in the tour can contact Bianco Tours at 734-946-7021 for more information.
