Annual game raises more than $1,500.
The seniors held on to win 21-14 over the juniors Wednesday during Hartland High School's annual powderpuff game that raised $1,641 for the student council.
About of the third of the money β $547 β will go to the Howell-based nonprofit The Connection Youth Services, which helps Livingston County teens in crisis, said Barbara Gazda, the event's main organizer.
The rest of the money is used during the school year where there is a lack of funds, such as school supplies in the media center or paying the bus fee for a student group to attend an event, Gazda said.
