Hartland Teen Competes in Michigan Superstar Finals

Trey McLaughlin Competes for MI Superstar Title Saturday Sept. 5th (Fifth Third Bank MI State Fair-St. John Providence Stage)

Bulletproof Snow front man Trey McLaughlin will perform a solo acoustic set at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 5th in Novi at the Suburban Collection Showplace for the 3rd annual Fifth Third Bank Michigan State Fair.

This is not just another performance for Trey but an opportunity to win a sort of music artist career kick starter package, including a $2,000 cash grand prize along with studio recording and industry consulting packages. Trey is also offering FREE admission tickets to selected fans who are interested in watching him perform. The weekend long festival kicks of Friday at 10:00 a.m. and runs through 5:00 p.m. Monday. In its 3rd year at this location the ”new” Michigan State Fair features a carnival midway, The Shrine Circus, a ”Michigan Made” pavilion, music all weekend long, and many other great attractions.

Trey McLaughlin is an 18 year old songwriter and guitarist from Hartland MI who amazes audiences of all ages with crystal clear vocals and artful guitar work. Performing captivating originals, his portfolio also includes unique versions of contemporary acoustic rock and classic rock.

Founded by Trey McLaughlin in 2012, the (4) piece rock band Bulletproof Snow is quickly gaining visibility both locally and nationally. Winning a performance spot in the Rockstar UPROAR Festival at DTE Energy Music Theatre in 2013, the band was also nominated and recently received the 2015 Detroit Music Awards People’s Choice Award.
