Hartland Teens Rocking The 2015 Stars and Stripes Festival
Hartland based Teen Rockers Bulletproof Snow To Help Light Up The 2015 Stars and Stripes Festival on Sunday June 28th
Hartland Teen Rockers Bulletproof Snow will perform at 3:30 p.m. Sunday June 28th on the Pavilion Stage at the 2015 Stars and Stripes Festival. The weekend long event kicked off Thursday at noon at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights and features a an art fair, carnival, craft beer village, monster truck ride (yes you can ride in the monster truck), white tiger exhibit, and much more. Music is provided all weekend on (3) stages and the event concludes with a spectacular fireworks display beginning around 10:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
Founded by Trey McLaughlin in 2012, the (4) piece rock band Bulletproof Snow is quickly gaining visibility both locally and nationally. Winning a performance spot in the Rockstar UPROAR Festival at DTE Energy Music Theatre in 2013, the band was also nominated and was among the top 5 artists in two categories at the 2014 Detroit Music Awards. Most recently playing showcases in March 2014 in Austin TX during the SXSW music festival, BPS was also awarded the People’s Choice Award at the 2015 Detroit Music Awards.
