For the third time this year Hartland was able to defeat Huron Valley — this time in the first round of the Regional Playoffs. Hartland won Wednesday night's contest 17-4 at Lake Orion High School (home of the regional games).
Scoring for Hartland were Natalie Sochacki with five goals; Ryan Skomial with four; and Amy Long with three. Taylor Pryde and Haley Crouse each scored twice with Ashley Collins adding one.

In goal for Hartland was Tabitha Ferguson who had six saves in the game. Thanks also to her tough defensive teamates, Huron Valley had limited shooting opportunities.
The win sets up a huge match-up next Wednesday versus Brighton. That game will also be played at Lake Orion High School — but this time the game starts at 5:00pm. Parents, please plan to leave work early that day so you can make the trip and support the girls. Everyone knows how big this game will be after splitting the regular season wins 1-1.

This is also the same field where Brighton knocked us out last year in double-overtime. Revenge.
