Woman, 64, remains hospitalized.

A court-appointed guardian is now in place for a 64-year-old Deerfield Township woman who is undergoing mental health treament after authorities to rescue more than 60 animals that were living in poor conditions.
WHMI-FM (93.5) reports an initial 90-day hospitalization was renewed Nov. 23 for the woman, who is uncharged as doctors evaluate her.
Livingston County Prosecutor David Morse is to avoid additional problems and securing help for the woman help instead of punishment.
