Channel 7 provides court date, other new details in Wednesday report.

A report about the ticketing of a Hartland principal for allowing underage drinking during a graduation party was aired Wednesday on Detroit's Channel 7.
WXYZ-TV reported a few new details to the story, including:
- The Hartland School District hopes to conclude its investigation of Creekside Elementary Principal Tracey Sahouri by the start of the school year.
- Tracey Sahouri and her husband Raed, who also was ticketed, are scheduled to appear in court Aug. 8.
- Because the offense is not a felony, Tracey Sahouri does not face mandatory termination from her job as principal.

The station also reiterated the basic facts previously reported by local media: The Sahouris plan to fight the tickets, saying they called police and acted responsibly once they discovered underage drinking during the July 9 party held for their child.
But Argentine Township police say its investigation shows the Sahouris were aware of the the illegal drinking before calling for help when a 16-year-old Linden teen who had been drinking needed medical assistance. The girl was treated and released from an area hospital.
