Tyrone Township Planning Commission weighs in on proposal to change zoning requirements at Cider Mill Crossings.

The Tyrone Township Planning Commission didn't endorse controversial zoning ordinance changes sought by the new owners of a Parshallville-area mobile home park, but approved several recommendations if the Township Board OKs the proposal, according to a WHMI-FM (93.5) report.
Cider Mill Crossings was recently by Sun Communities, which is now seeking to amend previous agreements regarding what's allowed it says is necessary to make the development profitable. The changes include allowing pre-owned manufactured homes to be installed 15 years or newer and single-section manufactured homes, according to a post about the proposal at Parshaville.com. The planning commission add-ons include making sure the developer maintains infrastructure such as roads and sidewalks, the radio report said about the Nov. 29 meeting.
A synopsis of the meeting is included as a PDF beneath the photo.
