Margaretta D'Arcy,79 year old Irish Peace Activist Imprisoned in Limerick, County Clare

My Irish Shamrock Plant, years old, flowering today, March 17, 2014, and I thought of Margaretta D'Arcy, 79 years old, sitting in Limerick Prison, County Clare for protesting. Her picture and story attached. 

It is a strange world we live in where we imprison the non-violent while we commit acts of terror and violence on whole populations of innocent people in the name of our own security.  Here's to Ms. D'Arcy for protesting!
