Couldn't see any sign of the aurora borealis through the stand of pines to my north but I did get a good view of the moon and the planet Venus at her brightest (mid-to-lower-right) through the trees to the southwest! I didn't layer exposures because I liked the star effect of the moon, even though it was almost half full!
