No Menards For Hartland

Hartland township supervisor Bill Fountain confirmed that after several months of talks with Menards, the home supply chain store has decided to not build a location in Hartland.

"At this point, it looks like they are not moving forward in Hartland," Fountain said. 

According to Fountain, however, there have been unconfirmed reports that a new location will be built in Howell, across from the Lowe's on Latson Road.

"It's not official, but there has been some discussion they were interested in the old Howell school on Latson Road," he said. "Somewhere in that vicinity."
