Prescription Medication Disposal Available Saturday
Educate. Collect. Dispose. Hartland Walgreens hosting prescription drug take-back event.
The Big Red Barrel, which allows residents to safely
dispose of their old or unwanted medication, will be available for
use at Walgreens in Hartland, 10081 Highland Rd Hartland, MI 48353 from
10am-2pm on Saturday, July 11. The prescription drug collection event will
accept any medication, including controlled substances such as OxyContin and
Vicodin. Sharps and inhalers will not be accepted. It is free to use and no
questions will be asked. All medication will be disposed of in an EPA approved way. Prescription painkillers can be the gateway drug into heroin use. Let’s keep the community safe and drug-free.
