Steady Stream Enjoys Pancake Breakfast
All-you-can-eat annual tradition continues at Village Elementary School before the Hartland Memorial Day parade.
Each year at least 500 people fuel up before the Hartland Memorial Day parade at with all-you-can eat pancakes, according to organizer Mary Corder of Hartland.
Cooks inside the kitchen estimated that's about 2,000 pancakes before all is said and done.
"It's all in the wrist," says Charlie Myers of Hartland as he Al Tolkkinen made the flap jacks Monday.

Myers said he enjoys volunteering, but admits another motive.
"You get good seats for the parade," he said.

Proceeds from the breakfast benefited the school's PTO.
