The public is invited to a free event featuring the 2014-2015 Toastmasters International president at Baker College in Flint.

Baker College will host the 2014-2015 international president of Toastmasters International for a free event that is open to the public, Tuesday, May 5, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Baker College of Flint, 1050 W. Bristol Road, Flint, in the Center for Engineering and Computer Technology. Reservations are not necessary and light refreshments will be served.
Mohammed Murad, DTM, of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will present a fun, creative and informative session on understanding the team dynamic and how individuals can add value to their teams.
“Research continually shows that public speaking is the number one fear of Americans,” said Niki Perkins, CPRW, director of career services for Baker College. “As a career college, Baker College believes that mastery of public speaking is critical to personal and professional development. This session, led by Mr. Murad, will highlight how individuals play an important role in teams and will demonstrate how effective communication skills and confidence can make all the difference in delivering information.”
