PFC Bradley Manning has been on trial for the last three weeks. The media can not video the military trial taking place in Maryland. The reason? Because it is a rule governing military trials. It is the 21st century and the military keeps secret when it breaks the rules. When PFC Manning released the video to Wiki-leaks of the military shooting down civilians, including two Rueter News agency employees, the military threw him in solitary confinement for over 9 months. Manning's solitary confinement was considered torture by the UN Inspector who investigated it.
The article in our local press, Sunday July 21st, 2013, "Witness: Manning said he had no allegiance to US" is a character assassination. Nowhere in the article does the Associated Press reveal to the public the video of our military committing war crimes. Instead of our media mentioning this fact and also letting the public know that PFC Manning's trial cannot be videotaped, it prints the biased witness statement which is suspect.
