UNFAIR TRIAL OF RASMEA ODEH

Rasmea Odeh was unfairly convicted in a Federal Trial in Detroit, MI on Nov 10, 2014. She should never have been tried in the first place.

I attended the trial on Nov 7th and have followed the case. In the photo, I am holding the banner, Rasmea is further right in the front. The verdict on Nov 10th, of guilty was  a miscarriage of justice for Rasmea Odeh.  I have offered her my support in a letter to her at the jail she has been sent to in Port Huron, MI.  I have written Senator Levin, Senator Stabenow, and Rep. Mike Rogers asking for them to get involved in seeing Rasmea free to go home to Chicago until her sentencing on March 10, 2015.  Rasmea is 67 years old, she was tortured and raped in an Israeli prison in 1969  to get a signed confession to a crime she didn’t commit.  In her trial the defense was prohibited from telling the jury this information while the prosecution was allowed to talk about the conviction, mentioning it about 50 times to the jury.
