$100 Worth of Nicorette Gum Taken, Video Game Accessories Stolen

Nicorette Gum Taken from Meijer’s
On July 27, approximately $100 worth of Nicorette gum was taken from the Genoa township Meijer, according to a police report from the Livingston County sheriff’s department.
According to the report, a Meijer employee who was working at the time told police she observed a man acting “strangely” while in the store and followed him to the nearby McDonald’s where she saw him drop several packages in the trash can.

After recovering the packages of Nicorette that were taken, police were given a description of the suspect by the Meijer employee, according to the report.

On July 28, Livingston County sheriff’s department responded to the Hartland regarding a complaint of retail fraud.
A Meijer employee informed police that she had been notified by the nearby Hartland regarding an incident involving a suspect stealing electronics. Items taken included a wireless game controller and games.
After reviewing store video, the suspect was also seen concealing items in the Hartland Meijer as well, that included a Playstation headset and four Playstation games.
A description of the suspect and car were given to police.
Damaged Vehicle
On July 27, a Howell woman reported that between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on July 26, the rear window of her truck that was parked on 5000 block of Golf Club Rd. had been broken, according to a police report.
The woman told police that initially she believed the damage might have been due to a storm, however she was unable to find anything nearby that would have caused the window to break.
