• Fire erupts at mid-Michigan airport, cause remains under investigation (mlive.com) — Fire crews from Imlay City helped battle a major hangar blaze Monday night at DuPont-Lapeer Airport, just west of town, after the incident was elevated to a second alarm. Because Imlay City's ladder truck is still out of service from a previous pallet fire, Attica Township provided ladder support while firefighters contained the blaze without injuries and investigators continue probing the cause.
