3. 'A labor of love': Kalamazoo affordable housing community welcomes first residents (woodtv.com) — A large new affordable housing complex, River's Edge Apartments near Gull Road and Harrison Street, is now welcoming its first residents in downtown Kalamazoo. Most of the 228 units are income-restricted, backed by city, county and state support, and include amenities like a fitness center, playground and live-work spaces.
