• Lansing police investigating possible serial killer connected to five deaths (cbsnews.com) — Lansing police are investigating whether five killings of unhoused men along a one-mile stretch of the River Trail between Old Town and Kalamazoo Street are linked to a serial offender. Victims, ages 22 to 70, mostly died from head injuries, and criminology experts say the pattern, proximity, and improved surveillance could help investigators identify and catch any perpetrator more quickly.
