Four winners will each receive up to $2,500, which may be used toward expenses such as medical bills, student loans, credit card balances, or other debt.

Michigan teachers: What would you do with $500 for your classroom?
LAFCU is now accepting applications for its 2026 Teachers Grant Contest, awarding five $500 grants (totaling $2,500) to help educators cover the cost of classroom supplies, learning resources and other student needs.
Michigan pre-K through 12th-grade teachers can apply online through May 15. No LAFCU membership required. Applicants must be Michigan residents and actively teaching during the 2026-2027 school year. Up to two grants may be awarded per school building.
