The Good Neighbor Concert Series #19: The Nathan Moore Affair in support of The Reading People

The concert will start at 7:15 PM and will feature will feature The Nathan Moore Affair, a dynamic 4-piece fusion band from Kalamazoo! 

The Nathan Moore Affair is the soulful rock gestalt of singer Nathan Moore, guitarist Chris Schleuder, bassist Mark Glubke, keyboardist Bob Wallis, and the amazing Carolyn Koebel on percussion! Formed in Kalamazoo MI, the band has been refining their signature fusion of indie-soul, blues, folk, and rock since 2018.

Prior to the show, there will be light snacks and refreshments available from Tania Watt Creative on a donation basis. Hang out in the Stage One café before the show and get to know your neighbors, fellow music-lovers, and our featured nonprofit!

A minimum of 10% of concessions will support The Reading People (Capital Area Literacy Coalition), a local nonprofit organization that works to eliminate illiteracy in our community by providing free educational support to anyone on a language-learning journey, including adults with personal or job-related literacy goals, any immigrant, refugee, or asylum-seeker learning English as a second language, and children at risk of falling behind in school for any reason. They also have a FREE GED Test Preparation Program!

About The Good Neighbor Concert Series:

The mission of The Good Neighbor Concert Series (GNCS) is to provide a high-quality, inclusive, and accessible listening-room experience, featuring diverse, underrepresented, and emerging musical artists from across Michigan and beyond, where performers, community members, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations can make a positive impact for the Greater Lansing area, and inspire others to do likewise.

Each event features a different nonprofit organization, which receives a minimum of 10% of the proceeds of ticket sales and concessions, along with additional donations. The featured nonprofit organization also has the opportunity to table at the event so that patrons can learn more, get involved, and/or donate additional funds directly if desired.
