• Grady C. Doane (Leslie City Council At-large, Michigan, candidate 2026) (ballotpedia.org) — Leslie voters will see Grady C. Doane on the November 3, 2026 ballot for an at-large seat on the Leslie City Council, running in a nonpartisan race with three other candidates. Ballotpedia is still gathering details and endorsements, and the candidate has not yet completed its survey, so residents may want to watch for more information before voting.
• Pole barn destroyed in Henrietta Township fire (wilx.com) — Leslie firefighters were among seven departments called to help battle a pole barn fire Monday evening in nearby Henrietta Township, where the structure was destroyed but no people or animals were hurt. Officials say there's no ongoing danger to the public, and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
