MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI — Two men were killed in a Tuesday night crash in Macomb Township, according to sheriff's officials.
The crash happened at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday on 23 Mile Road at Lancelot Drive in Macomb Township, officials said.
Officials said a black Chevrolet Silverado was moving west on 23 Mile Road without its headlights illuminated.
The pickup truck crossed over into the eastbound lanes and smashed head-on into a white Chevrolet Express van, officials said.
The driver of the Chevrolet Express, a 30-year-old man from Macomb Township, was killed in the crash, officials said.
The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado, a 60-year-old man from Harrison Township, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, officials said.
Officials said both vehicles were occupied by a single driver.
Officials did not release any other details as they were still investigating the crash.
