The Recreation Department and Blue Lakes Charters & Tours are offering a trip to Grand Rapids on Oct. 6. Depart at 7:45 a.m. for a trip that includes:
- Transportation via nonsmoking, Blue Lakes Charters & Tours motorcoach to Grand Rapids
- Lunch at Charley’s Crab in Grand Rapids
- Shuttle service to ArtPrize Venues, so you can come and go at your own pace
- Optional tour stop at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum ($10)
- Official ArtPrize program with all the official exhibits
ArtPrize is the newest addition to Grand Rapids' public art displays. ArtPrize is a competition open to any artist in the world who can find space. The winner is decided by
public vote. The ArtPrize organizers offer the largest cash
prize for an art competition.
