MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI — An infant was killed in a Thursday crash in Macomb Township, according to sheriff's officials.
The crash happened at 11:08 a.m. on 25 Mile Road at Petunia Drive in Macomb Township, officials said.
Officials said a gray Ford Bronco Sport was moving west on 25 Mile Road when attempting to turn south onto Petunia Drive.

The Bronco turned into the path of a white Ford F-350 that was moving east on 25 Mile Road, officials said.
The vehicles collided head-on, officials said.

An infant, who was secured in a child safety seat in the Bronco, was found unresponsive after the crash, officials said.
Good samaritans and first responders provided life-saving efforts before the baby was taken to a nearby hospital, officials said.
The baby died in a higher-level trauma center from injuries sustained in the crash, officials said.
The 35-year-old driver of the Ford Bronco Sport and the 35-year-old driver of the Ford F-350 suffered minor injuries in the crash, officials said.
"The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office extends its deepest sympathies to the infant’s family and loved ones during this difficult time," officials said in a statement.
