FERNDALE, MI — The Center of Enlightenment, an independent Spiritualist church in Ferndale, will host its 3rd Annual Spirit Faire fundraiser on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 2724 Goodrich Ave., Ferndale, MI 48220.
This uplifting community event will feature indoor and outdoor mediums, intuitive readers, aura photography, vendors, and several forms of energy healing and a raffle for prizes. Admission is $5 and children 12 and under are free, with proceeds supporting the Center of Enlightenment and its spiritual work in the community.Many of the vendors are cash only sales, so please prepare for this.
The Center of Enlightenment is a Spiritualist-based church that celebrates the Science, Philosophy, and Religion of Spiritualism. Spiritualism recognizes continuous life and is based upon the demonstrated fact of communication, by means of mediumship, with those who live in the Spirit World.
The church’s philosophy is rooted in spiritual growth, learning, service, and community. Its members reach out to the needy, to their brothers and sisters, and to other religious institutions, while continuing to teach and learn about spirituality, its many aspects, and the Universe.
During the Spirit Faire, guests will have the opportunity to have their aura photographed and interpreted by Aura Illuminations with Rev. Ken Bede, receive flower messages from Spirit with Rev. Elizabeth Brown, get intuitive readings from author Jacki Smith, and discover important truths from Michelle Michael channeling Enos. Attendees may also connect with other talented mediums and readers offering insight, guidance, and messages from loved ones in spirit.
The event will also feature a variety of energy workers, including practitioners of Reiki and Direct Divine Light, offering guests a chance to experience different forms of spiritual and energetic support.
The Spirit Faire is open to the public, and all are welcome. Whether guests are experienced in metaphysical work, seeking comfort, or simply looking for a meaningful day out, the event offers a warm and welcoming space to explore, connect, and support a local Spiritualist church.
