• NMC hosts Building Tomorrow event to introduce students to skilled trades (9and10news.com) — Students from Mancelona are heading to Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City for a two-day Building Tomorrow event that lets them try out carpentry, welding, automotive work, HVAC, and more. The hands-on program is designed to break down fears about skilled trades and show local teens they can train for solid careers without leaving northern Michigan.
