After piling up 44 goals over that six-game away streak, the Cardinals now turn right around to host Edsel Ford at 7 p.m. Friday, giving local fans an immediate chance to cheer them on at home.
• Sign installed on I-94 to mark Cpl. Mohamed Said Memorial Highway (thenewsherald.com) — Drivers on I-94 through Allen Park and Melvindale will now see a new sign honoring Cpl.
