She has since been released from the Macomb County Jail and is reportedly in residential rehab while facing potential prison time for felony OWI and alleged assault on a police officer.
• Native American man accuses Richmond police of racial bias, retaliation (macombdaily.com) — A New Baltimore resident and former Richmond reserve officer has filed a federal lawsuit alleging racial harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination by Richmond police after he reported offensive comments about his Native American heritage. The suit, now in U.S. District Court in Detroit, seeks lost wages, punitive damages, and a declaration that the department's conduct was unlawful.
