If you're considering a donation of toys or nonperishable food items to make someone's holidays a little bit brighter, there's an easy way to help.
Simply bring items to the Chesterfield Township Library, located at 50560 Patricia, off Chesterfield Road near Gratiot and 23 Mile Road through Saturday, Dec. 17. The library is a drop-off point for toys for the Chesterfield Goodfellows annual drive and for stocking area food pantries' coffers.
Library hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call the library at 586-598-4900, or visit www.chelibrary.org.
