DiAnne M. Pellerin Center students hold their own “The Amazing Race”

Students at the DiAnne M. Pellerin Center are in the middle of their version of "The Amazing Race."

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Students at the DiAnne M. Pellerin Center are in the middle of their version of “The Amazing Race.” In the competition, teams of four complete two challenges based off the culture and traditions of the country. The winners are chosen based on how quickly and accurately the students complete the challenges. Each week a different country is represented, previous challenges include France, Netherlands and England. The next race features Greece on May 16 and the finale, on May 23, will focus on Europe as a whole. Both will take place from 8:20 to 9:30 a.m.

The race was organized by the School Cultural Team to build the sense of culture among the students and provide them opportunity to learn about each other and various cultures throughout the school. The team has organized events all year, including their own Olympics and English Culture Day.

DiAnne M. Pellerin Center is located at 24001 F.V Pankow Blvd.  For more information, contact teacher Jennie Brady at bradyje@lc-ps.org.
