Pankow students received awards at SkillsUSA State Conference

Several Frederick V. Pankow students received awards and honors at the 41st Annual SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Several Frederick V. Pankow students received awards and honors at the 41st Annual SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference. Kelly Harp, Brittiny Shepherd and Chris Nowak won Gold in Crime Scene Investigation, Kevin Kelty won Bronze in Culinary Arts, Jacob Mager won Silver in Advertising Design and Adam Angelucci won Bronze in Criminal Justice. In addition, Alexis Allen, Shelby Bogan, Bailey Chavez, Hannah Rygwelski, and Julia Warnerup received honorable mentions.

SkillsUSA is a national organization made up of students, teachers and professionals who are enrolled in technical, skilled, service and health occupation training programs. The organization hosts local, state and national competitions where students demonstrate occupational and leadership skills. The Crime Scene Investigation team will be participating in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, Missouri June 24 - 29
